Tested and proven by the Factory test pilots. This setup is a must have suspension upgrade for larger adult riders. Soon to have different spring options for lighter riders and to fine tune even further.

Damping Rod style forks are notorious for being both too harsh, too mushy and too easy to bottom. Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators remedy this problem by controlling the damping with a tunable valve that sits on top of the damping rod and is held in place by the main spring.  Simply put, Emulators make damping rod forks perform like well-tuned cartridge forks.


For the CRF110 oil spec go 140mm from the top with springs out and fully compressed (140mm oil height is with extended damping rods like the BBR and others). We run 20wt oil for our bikes/riders. If needed adjust to your liking/riding.

Wayyyyyy better than the traditional rods/springs setup. Closest you’ll get these forks to feeling like the inverted setup. Adjustments are endless, even without the springs it’s an incredible difference. I started with just the cartridge on the softest setting (without the springs) and worked my way stiffer. 160 lbs. super easy to adjust. Don’t even have to take the forks off the bike. Too easy to install.

The only way to go. This is the closest thing you can get to a full cartridge fork setup found in the big bike suspension. Easy install too....Even a caveman can do it.
